I’m Back!

2016 was a crazy year. Every turn my husband and family took was a whirlwind. We discovered in March we were expecting which was THRILLING. After the loss of our “peanut” the previous May and the struggles we went through over the next 10 months finding out we were going to be blessed with a little one was enthralling.

My pregnancy was pretty easy, considering. When we found out I hadn’t even had any symptoms yet. On my way home on a lunch break Walgreens aisle of tests were calling my name so I picked up a box thinking, just maybe this time the test won’t be negative. To my surprise it wasn’t. One of the best parts was that my parents were in town visiting from PA. They got to see the excitement and celebrate with us when we found out.

November 25th our precious little boy was born at 1:10pm after 21 hours of labor. We got into the whole gender reveal craze too, frugally of course. We wanted to do something different than the typical balloons in a box or the cake filling being the gender color. Instead we hit an egg with a golf club. YES! I will do a whole post on this awesome idea. Pictures will be limited. I sadly switched from the IPhone to a Samsung device and literally LOST all of my pictures. I have come to terms with this, but still, really technology you can’t figure out how to make it easier to get your pictures from IPhone to Samsung? UGH.

Our peanut is now 6 months going on 7 months. Mybirthday has come and gone, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.

Sheesh the more I type the more I’m realizing I have loads to catch up on. Tons of posts to construct and give you the best frugal living tips. Frugal momma tips too!

Without further ado I shall return the regularly scheduled program and get to posting.

Happy Frugal Living!
